| Eagle Watch For four years Vision members have hosted Eagle Watches that have taken place in January. Free of charge, all are welcome to come along on the all day adventure throughout the region to site majestic eagles in our own back yards. | |

|
Town of Highland /West Point Farmers Market Hundreds flock to this yearly event sponsored by Vision. Vision members have group local vendors from throughout the region to sell the “fruits” and crafts of the Hudson Valley. The market is open every Sunday, July through October, and features a Vision booth with information regarding Vision and our local community. |
| Pre R- Day Reception Vision annually hosts a Pre R-Day reception, welcoming the incoming plebe Class of West Point cadets and their families to the community. While enjoying refreshments on the front lawn of a village church, Vision volunteers are able to socialize and welcome the new members of the West Point community. | |

Winterfest
The
Vision Winterfest Celebration invites all families and local
organizations to join in celebrating the holiday season.
Members from every community in the Town of Highlands – Bear
Mountain, Fort Montgomery, Highland Falls and West Point – at this
annual event, refreshments participate.
Everyone enjoys refreshments and take part in the unifying
activities of a parade, community songfest and general socialization. |

Book Sale Community members were asked to donate their used books to be offered for donations at the Farmers Market each Sunday. |

| Daffodils-on-Hudson
For the third year in a row, Vision members donated their time, effort
and space to celebrate Spring along the banks of the beautiful Hudson
with a Champagne luncheon held at the former J.P. Morgan Estate, with
its acres of daffodils. |
|
| Wine
and Roses-on-Hudson
Vision members donated their time, effort and space to celebrate
Autumn along the banks of the beautiful Hudson, and enjoyed local wines
and hors d’oeuvres representing local Hudson Valley products. |

LadyCliff Park Vision has allocated funds to beautify Ladycliff Park in the Village of Highland Falls. |

Benches - Allocated funding enabled Vision members to purchase benches and trash receptacles for the Village to beautify the streetscape. |

Gardens and Planters Allocated funding enabled Vision members to purchase and plant gardens throughout out Village and Town adding color and beauty to our communities many thoroughfares. |

Daffodil Planting Guests raised money as they purchased tickets to enjoy a day of sipping champagne, eating and socializing at the third annual Daffodil-on-Hudson fundraiser. The money raised is used each year to purchase daffodils that Vision volunteers plant throughout the Town and Village. To date over 8,000 bulbs have been planted that beautify the entire community. |
| The Brooks Pond Nature Trail in Fort Montgomery While working together with local parks and recreation management, members of Vision worked to create a nature trail in Fort Montgomery. It is Vision's hope that all community members will enjoy the beauty in their own backyards and walk the trail around Brooks Pond. |

Benjamin
Moore Paint Vision
members contacted Benjamin Moore Paint Company and was successful in
having them donate paint and suggest color complimentary color schemes
for Village Hall, Town Hall and the Masonic Hall.
Benjamin Moore also gave the village guidelines for color schemes
to compliment other Main Street facades.
Vision is working with the Village, Town governments and the
Masons on this restoration project. |

Patriot
Garden As a
means to create a living memorial for the loss and devastation of
September 11th Vision presented the Town board with a state
funded matching grant which enabled the creation of a Patriot
Garden near Garrison Pond in Fort Montgomery.
All designs and research where overseen by Vision. Ground
breaking was September 2002, and phase 1 completed and dedicated
June 2004. |

DUSA -Daughters of the United States Army - Allocated funds will enable Vision to purchase receptacles and benches for the Village and projected Patriot Garden in Fort Montgomery. |

| River
sweep Vision
members participated in The Great River Sweep, a regional plan created
by Scenic Hudson to Clean the Hudson river Corridor.
Vision members manually cleaned up garbage left along the
River’s edge. |

| Rotary
Allocated funds will enable Vision to purchase receptacles and benches
for the Village and projected Patriot Garden in Fort Montgomery, and the
restoration and improvement to the “Welcome” sign in the Village. |

| St.
Mark’s Baptist Church Restoration Members
of Vision answered the call of St. Mark’s parishioners when they
wanted to renovated the appearance our their old church.
Seeking ways to apply for grants, Vision assisted the church by
getting the church building successfully named to State and National
Historic Registers. Grants received will be used to restore the façade
of this historical building. |

As the result of a grant from Greenway, the Brooks Pond Nature Trail is
being constructed. |
