Our community was selected by the U.S. Forestry Service, out of sixteen Hudson Valley and Long Island sites, to honor and memorialize the victims of the tragic events of 9/11. Vision's Beautification Committee has taken on the task of overseeing the planning and execution of the Patriot Garden, a living memorial to September 11, 2001. With the help of many volunteers, organizations and donations from the entire Town of Highlands phase one has been completed.
