With
the assistance of Jeanne Frazee and other energetic Vision members, Annie
Scott made the “vision” of Mayfest not only a reality, but a success.
Those who arrived early on Saturday morning witnessed Annie run from one
end of Main Street to the other at least 100 times.
Thanks and thanks again Annie, you did a fabulous job. As for the “Community’s Largest Bake Sale Ever” – It all began at Bobbi Polak’s house early last Friday and lasted until late, late night. The vigorous one-day schedule ensured the freshness of the 200+ sticky buns, cinnamon roles other assorted cakes and pastries. Special thanks to individual community members who dropped off their sweet treasures at the booth. All of delicious contributions of baked goods and precious time spent were well appreciated, an estimated $350.00 was made at the sale. Proceeds will be put toward Vision projects.
